Since becoming an exercise instructor in 2004, I have had students throw (soft) things at me, say things like, "Why would anyone want to do this?" and "What are you doing to me?" and "I know you, Diane. You're not happy till I'm not happy." I've had people bark and growl at me, grunt, groan, sigh, call me a torturer, call my exercise equipment torture devices, call my studio a torture chamber. All of this in fun, of course! Mostly, there's a lot of fun and laughter while working towards pure health: strength, flexibility, great posture and balance, and a peaceful mind.
Whether your goals are to improve your posture, become stronger or more flexible, get out of pain, tone up or lose weight, I will design an exercise program to specifically meet your goals in a way that is fun .

If you're looking for small classes where you receive a lot of personal attention. I teach 6 classes per week at the Valley Alternative Healing Center in Solvang.
The benefit of small classes is that I can keep a sharp eye on you to make sure you stay safe and receive the most benefit from what you're doing.

I am a certified personal trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through Yoga Alliance, Posture Specialist through the National Posture Institute, and have experience teaching weight management classes and Jazzercise.
