The teaching I do, is not just yoga poses and exercises, it includes self help tips and anatomy. My students develop an understanding of how their body works so they can figure out, on their own, what they need to do to keep their body safe, improve their posture, and feel good. I do this with a combination of humor, intellect and mindfulness, and always keep things positive.
I truly believe that the positive energy I put into my classes, rubs off on my students, and I have faith that it creates a ripple effect of goodness into the community and into the world. This makes the world a better place for my family, my friends and me, now and in the future.
My goal is to bring my students up to a teacher level, so that if and when someone they know is hurting, they can be helpful . I know that helping others is an innate human quality, that when used, has a beautiful, positive effect.
I hate when I say something that I later regret. Sometimes words spill out of my mouth before I think things through, and they come out wrong or insensitive. I wish I could delete my words as easily as I can when I write a blog, because it hurts my heart to think that I’ve offended someone.
